The Story Behind the Lens

Hi there! I’m Crystan, a passionate hobbyist photographer with over 10 years of experience capturing moments big and small in and around Portland, TX.  When I’m not behind the lens, I’m a wife to an amazing, hardworking man who’s always on the go, and a mom to a wonderful teenager who keeps me on my toes.

I’m all about country music, traveling to new places, and whipping up the best homemade cookies and breads!  Photography allows me to freeze moments in time, just as I cherish the everyday moments with my family.  It’s been a journey of love, laughter, and creating memories, and I’m so excited to share that with you through my photos!  My goal is to make you feel comfortable, confident, and completely yourself in front of the camera, so we can create stunning, timeless images together.
